Robert “Bobby” Butcher
Co-founder & owner, Plumeria Wellness
Plumeria didn’t start with a business plan. It started when Bobby decided to change his own life: stop drinking, stop smoking, train properly, eat better and take recovery seriously.
Six months later, he wanted to bring everything that helped him under one roof, for everyone else.
How it began
A family holiday that turned into something bigger
The hard side
AA meetings, Allen Carr, even an implant under his skin. Getting alcohol out of his life took everything, and became his own approach: Hate the Poison, now a book in progress.
The change
Training, better food, saunas and cold plunges. The same basics Plumeria is built around.
The flower
On a family holiday in Dubai, his daughter handed him a plumeria. He looked it up: new beginnings, renewal, life. He believes the name was God-given.
The research
He tried the experiences himself, from Pravilo stretching and hyperbaric chambers to wet cupping, before bringing any of them home. Tokyo and China are next.

Head coach
Ruben Giles
Former professional boxer from Chertsey, 5–0 as a pro and 2014 Queensbury British middleweight champion. Today he coaches amateur and professional boxers and specialises in high-intensity boxing training.
